Porsha’s Accusation: Angela Oakley Ready for War?

Angela and Charles Oakley are demanding their names be left out of their castmates’ discussions.
On a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Angela shared details with her husband about the dramatic conclusion of their cast trip to Nashville. Angela, playfully noting that Charles enjoys “playing devil’s advocate,” surprised the former NBA player by revealing that he had been a subject of conversation among the women.
“I heard Porsha, Brit, Kelli, and Shamea talking about you, about you messing with a girl in New York,” she explained. “Let me tell you what Porsha had to say about you – that you’re just so easy to sleep with. That anybody could sleep with Charles. That she could sleep with you.”
“Well, no, she can’t,” he responded jokingly. “People tell you anything. Do you believe it?”
“No!” Angela stated firmly. “I don’t believe it. So, I said, ‘Hey, Porsha, I hear you talking about me, talking about my husband. You got anything to say?’ And she politely got her butt the heck out of there because it got real, real fast. I’m about to go to war.”
Amused, Charles encouraged Angela to “go to war,” as long as he had “a ticket for this front row seat.”
Later, the women gathered for Cynthia Bailey’s Juneteenth celebration party, where a prophet provided readings for everyone. After cautioning the women to prioritize a healthy sex life with their husbands, the prophet inquired if anyone in the room drove a Porsche. Angela mentioned that Charles was considering buying one.
“He’s got an eye on a Porsche, right? Not Porsha?” Shamea quipped, but Angela chose not to respond.
After the prophet departed, Brit commented that she found the predictions to be “spot on,” and asked Angela for her opinion.
“About what?” Angela questioned. “Did you have something you wanted to tell me? Because the energy…”
“Do you not read the words that are coming out of my mouth?” Brit retorted. “It sounds like you need to use that mouth more often.”
Angela quickly fired back, telling Brit her mouth had “stretch marks around it.”
“You got miles on your mouth,” Angela continued as Brit rose from her seat. “I’m married. Brit, you’re a whore.”
As the other women looked on in shock, Brit shouted back: “Maybe you should be a whore in the bedroom so you can keep your man.”
“You might need to revisit your marriage,” Angela exclaimed.
“Your husband hasn’t even acknowledged he’s been married to you for the last 10 years,” Brit said. “Does the world know about that baby?” Kelli then repeated: “Does the world know about that baby, though?”
“Who is the baby?” Angela asked. “You better come with receipts.”
Cynthia intervened swiftly to shut down the escalating argument, later taking Porsha and Angela to a separate room in the hopes of resolving their conflict.
“What you walked up on was a complete after party,” Porsha explained. “So somebody brought up something, and I was like, ‘Yeah, what’s with Angela? Why does she always bring up her husband to me?’”
“But you were the person who said you should sleep with Charles,” Angela countered.
“Girl, no,” Porsha interjected, but Angela insisted she wasn’t mistaken: “Blame it on alcohol — that’s what you said, and that’s what I heard.”
“I’m not that person,” Porsha asserted before admitting she made the comment in her confessional and offering a backhanded apology. “It was a stupid comment. I shouldn’t have made it, or maybe I should have. I was kiki-ng with my friends. I definitely didn’t know that Dumbo was up there with her big old ears listening to everything. But since she was, I’m sorry, that was inappropriate for me to be having that much fun with my friends, Angela.”
Ultimately, the two agreed to move forward, with Angela apologizing for any offense she may have caused in the past and Porsha replying: “Ditto.”
