Alexis Waters’ Vegas Wedding: Showgirls, Elvis & Bachelor Bliss!
The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise alum Alexis Waters celebrated her wedding to longtime boyfriend Tyler Fernandez with a “fun and wild” Las Vegas ceremony on Saturday, April 26.
The “small, intimate s— show” was attended by 31 guests – plus a magician, two showgirls, and an Elvis Presley impersonator.
“We are both so excited to start this chapter of life, stronger than we’ve ever been,” Waters shared.
The reality TV star married her boyfriend of seven years, Tyler Fernandez, on Saturday, April 26, at the Little White Wedding Chapel, followed by dinner and an afterparty to enjoy a set by a popular DJ.
“Tyler’s family loves Vegas and I never wanted a big wedding so I just wanted to elope and do something fun and wild,” Waters explained. “My mom also got married at the Little White Chapel and that was her only marriage that lasted, so I am just trying to keep the tradition alive in the family.”
The night before the wedding, the couple enjoyed a concert. The party continued the following day, where 31 of their closest friends and family members attended their “small, intimate s— show.”
Wanting to “go all out,” the bride and groom incorporated two Vegas showgirls and a magician into their ceremony, which was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator.
Fernandez’s niece and nephew served as the flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
Waters wore “the perfect dress for a Vegas wedding” — a bridal minidress designed by Nicole+Felicia. She was most looking forward to having her father walk down the aisle. He did so as the impersonator sang Elvis’ 1961 hit song “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
Guests lovingly watched Waters and Fernandez exchange traditional vows. They were all told to “dress like they are going on a date with Elvis.”
“[We] have gone through so much together,” says Waters, who met Fernandez through a mutual friend, another reality tv star. They were on a girls trip to Miami when her friend introduced Waters and Fernandez at a nightclub. “So I found love on The Bachelor after all,” Waters notes.
“I feel like no matter what happens in life, having him by my side will always be my greatest accomplishment,” Waters gushes of Fernandez. “We are both so excited to start this chapter of life, stronger than we’ve ever been.”
After the wedding, where “tequila shots” were a must-have, everyone was escorted in a party bus. For dessert, they enjoyed slices of red velvet wedding cake with vanilla cream. Stay tuned for more updates from Eternal Pen.
The reality star announced her engagement on her social media in March 2023. Waters shared photos of the memorable moment when Fernandez dropped to one knee on her 30th birthday as they stood on a yacht in Miami, with friends in the foreground cheering them on. In another cute selfie, she sported a captain’s hat as she showed off her massive oval-cut ring.
“We balance out each other perfectly,” Waters explains. “We are the true definition of opposites attract and we have a rockstar relationship (I am the star and he is the rock). Tyler is so supportive of my stand-up comedy career and he is the calm to my crazy.”
She continues, “The best part is that our families get along so well, which is super important to both of us.”
Waters can’t wait to spend the rest of her life with her “best friend” and “hopefully start a beautiful family together.”
The next stop is a honeymoon together in Lake Como, Italy. After that, Waters plans on focusing on her stand-up comedy career and growing her podcast.
