Beabadoobee Calls Sabrina Carpenter ‘So Lovely’ Ahead of Their Summertime BST Hyde Park Show in London

Beabadoobee is singing Sabrina Carpenter’s praises.

Speaking to NME on the red carpet at the 2025 BRIT Awards on Saturday, March 1, the “Beaches” singer — who was nominated for artist of the year and best alternative/rock act — shared her reaction to co-headlining the BST Hyde Park Festival with the “Espresso” singer this July 5.

“I was so happy,” Beabadoobee, 24, said of her slot for the show. “She’s so lovely and we’ve spoken a couple of times, so I can’t wait to do that. It’s going to be really fun! I love sharing my music in real-life experiences.”

Beabadoobee’s stop in London comes ahead of her headlining The Space In Between Tour throughout the U.S. and Canada, promoting her 2024 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves.

She teased what fans can expect from her upcoming performances. “As for what to expect from my live show, everyone says that I have around 10 guitar changes,” she told NME.

“I actually get scared that people will get annoyed at that because I’m constantly changing guitars — but expect a lot of different colored guitars!”

BTS Hyde Park takes place over three weekends in June and July, featuring other artists including Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan, Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts and Jeff Lynne’s Elo.

Joining Carpenter, 25, and Beabadoobee on July 5 is Clairo, with more artists to be announced.

Beabadoobee performs at Laneway Festival 2025 on February 16, 2025 in Perth, Australia.

In 2023, Beabadoobee opened for Taylor Swift during the first leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour in the U.S. Carpenter also opened for Swift, 35, for several international shows.

Beabadoobee told PEOPLE about the experience in April 2023, explaining that “it didn’t feel real.”

“Imagine someone that you’ve listened to growing up and almost shaped your childhood being like, ‘This is for young Bea.’ And I’m like, well, f— my life. I’m going to die. It’s like all the problems have just been solved in that [moment],” the “Coffee” musician said at the time amid the Eras Tour.

Added Beabadoobee: “She’s just so awesome. And the fact that she took the time to say that and to watch an interview, and to sing it and even just introducing me. It’s just mental that someone I’m a massive fan of appreciates my music as much. It was a trip. It was a massive trip. It was like I was on shrooms or something.”
