Brenda Song & Macaulay Culkin’s Family Summer: Travel Dreams & Exclusive Details

Brenda Song is looking forward to a “simple” summer with Macaulay Culkin and their two young sons, Dakota and Carson. In a recent interview, Song shared her summer plans, highlighting her desire for quality family time.

The actress, 37, attended Gold House’s Fourth Annual Gold Gala on May 10, celebrating the organization’s 2025 A100 List, which recognizes the 100 “most impactful Asian Pacific leaders in culture and society.”

During the event in Los Angeles, Song revealed how she, Culkin, and their sons plan to spend their summer, starting with her top priority.

“I mean, honestly, I want to go to Disneyland with the kids. I’m ready,” Song said. “We haven’t gone yet this year, and that’s crazy for us because we are obsessed with Disneyland, but it’s been a busy year.”

The star, who recently appeared in a hit series and is preparing to film its second season, expressed gratitude for her busy schedule but admitted she’s “just looking forward to … getting in the pool with the kids, things like that.”

“I want something simple,” she continued, describing her hopes for the summer. “I want easy.”

Above all, Song wants “a little bit of time this summer to, like, to be a mom,” she said. “That’s what I’m hoping for.” Stay tuned for more updates from Eternal Pen!

As for Mother’s Day, Song hopes for a similarly relaxed time with Culkin, 44, and their sons, Dakota and Carson.

When asked about her plans for the holiday, the actress admitted, “I hope we’re doing absolutely nothing.”

“All I want to do as mom is to do nothing and just to hang out with my baby boys and see my mama,” continued Song. “That’s all I want to do.”

“I mean, if you have kids, you know that is the ideal Mother’s Day,” she added.

Earlier this year, Song shared a similar sentiment, hoping to “take a deep breath” this Mother’s Day.

“As moms, you are running around all the time,” the working mother of two said. “You have so much on your plate, even when you don’t realize it, just because [of] your kids. I mean, these little people depend on you, [and] you do everything for them. And you forget to sometimes take care of yourself.”

“That’s what I really love about a day like Mother’s Day,” Song added, “where it’s just you take a second to just take a deep breath. And you know what? We deserve a little bit of appreciation. Moms do a lot.”
