Brittany Mahomes Admits She’s ‘Very Competitive’ with Labor — and Shares Even Beat Her Previous ‘Push Time’ with Baby No. 3

When it comes to labor, Brittany Mahomes admits that she’s just a little competitive.

The Kansas City Current co-owner, 29, appeared on the WHOOP podcast and opened up about welcoming her baby daughter Golden Raye, who was born in January. As she spoke with host Will Ahmed, the founder & CEO of the fitness company noted he’d just chatted with her husband Patrick Mahomes, also 29, who said Brittany can be competitive in labor.

“And now I was just talking to Patrick, and he said you were very competitive about the labor process. Like it was going to be the best birth ever,” Ahmed says.

“Yes. Yes. And it was. Every birth, I got better. My push time decreased,” Brittany shares. 

Asked if she keeps track of it, Brittany confirms that she does. “Yes. Yeah. Every year I’m like, ‘Okay. We got to beat seven minutes. We got to beat five minutes. We got to do it,’ ” she jokes. “And we did.”

Alongside Golden, Brittany and Patrick are parents to son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, 2, and daughter Sterling Skye, 4.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Brittany revealed whether she and Patrick are planning to grow their family. When asked by Ahmed, the mom of three quickly replied that while it’s hard to say she’s completely done, the parents of three have no intention to welcome another child “for a while.”

“Nope,” she responded. “We’re done. We’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”

In May, Brittany shared a series of photos documenting her and husband Patrick’s family golf outing while in Nevada for the Mahomies Vegas Golf Classic, organized by the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback’s 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

The golf tournament ran from May 14 to May 16 at Shadow Creek Golf Course, which is also where Brittany, Patrick and two of their three kids got some swings in, according to Brittany’s Instagram post.

“Shadow Creek and @15andmahomies adventures❤️,” she captioned the photos. The couple’s baby daughter Golden was also present, though she didn’t get in on any of the golfing action.

The baby made a cameo in Brittany’s photo dump from the family’s outing — a rare snap of the mom of three holding her while Patrick leaned down and smiled at the little one. Golden’s face was hidden from view in the sweet image.
