Brooklyn Beckham Says He Tries to Cook for Wife Nicola ‘Every Night’: ‘I Get Lost in It’ (Exclusive)

Brooklyn Beckham likes to get creative in the kitchen.
The Cloud23 hot sauce founder tells PEOPLE, “I love cooking my wife stuff, and I try and cook every night.”
Beckham, who opened up about entertaining while cohosting the launch of Jefferson’s Rye Whiskey in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Tuesday, June 17, said wife Nicola Peltz is sometimes his sous chef, but he also likes to “get in the moment” with just his dogs around.
“It’s just me listening to my music, maybe watching a movie, having a drink,” he says. “I get lost in it.”
Monday night’s meal, he says, was spaghetti bolognese.
The culinary enthusiast, 26, adds that Peltz, 30, is also his favorite person to share a drink with.
“She’s not obviously a massive drinker, but honestly she does love a whiskey,” he says. “She loves wine.”
The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, are also game to try viral food trends.
“I tell you, my wife sends me so much stuff on TikTok,” Beckham says. “She’s like, ‘Can you please make me this little snack?’”
“She sent me this one the other day of this pickle cut in half, scraped out with a bit of cream cheese and everything, bagel seasoning and lemon pepper seasoning. She sent me that and we made it. It’s like our new late-night snack.”

Tuesday’s event featured another surprisingly tasty combination: a Brooklyn23 cocktail featuring Jefferson’s Rye and Cloud23 Hot Habanero.
Beckham says he likes to eat hot sauce on other unexpected foods.
“I do love it on ice cream,” he admits, noting that his brand’s Sweet Jalapeno sauce goes well with vanilla.
Asked what celebrity, living or dead, he’d most want to cook for, Beckham named an iconic band.
“Probably the Beatles. I think that would be really cool,” he says. “Yeah, I’d make probably a traditional fish and chips sandwich.”
