Slater’s Shining Stars: Daughters Steal the Show at Walk of Fame
Christian Slater celebrated a remarkable milestone alongside his family: the unveiling of his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, June 9th.
The *Heathers* actor, 55, was accompanied by his wife, Brittany Lopez, and his daughters, Eliana and Lena, as he commemorated this significant achievement in his extensive career. The actor proudly posed with his family, marking the special occasion.
“I have amazing and wonderful children [and] I can’t imagine my life without them. They are the greatest,” he expressed during his acceptance speech. After a heartfelt acknowledgement of his wife, Slater concluded, “Having a star on Hollywood Blvd is great, but none of this would have been possible without my family and the love I have today.”
Slater is a father of four. He shares daughter Lena and a son (born in 2019 and 2024, respectively) with Lopez, whom he married in December 2013. He also has two older children—son Jaden, 25, and daughter Eliana, 23—with his former wife, Ryan Haddon.
In August 2024, shortly before the arrival of his youngest child, the actor shared his thoughts on experiencing fatherhood at this stage of his life.
“The whole thing is different. I’m certainly a lot more present and I just love it,” Slater explained. “I think I was more scared of it the first go around and a little bit more confused, and I was very distracted.”
He elaborated, “And now, it’s all I really think about, and all I really care about, and all I want to be around. I’m happy to be in that situation.”
Months later, prior to the premiere of *Dexter: Original Sin*, Slater mentioned that he now prefers spending time at home with his family. “Back in the 90s, it was like all I could wish for was just to be somewhere else all the time,” he said. “Now I really like to be home.”
