Coco Arquette Turns 21: David Arquette’s Heartfelt Birthday Tribute
David Arquette is celebrating a very special occasion: his daughter Coco’s 21st birthday!
The actor, 53, took to Instagram to share a touching tribute to Coco, whom he shares with ex Courteney Cox, 60. He posted a delightful throwback photo of a young Coco, playfully adorned with several plastic crowns while posing at a set table in a backyard.
“Happy 21st Birthday Coco!!! I’m so honored to be your father and I’m so proud of the talented caring person you are,” the proud dad wrote. “Thank you for all the light, love, and magic you bring to this world! @cocoarquette_.”
Arquette also shared another nostalgic snapshot on his Instagram Stories. It showed Coco, even younger, striking a pose next to a red car bearing a bumper sticker that humorously read, “Real Men Love Jesus.” The then-young Coco playfully raised her hand and made a funny face beside the car.
Adding to the heartfelt celebration, Arquette included a more recent photo of himself with his daughter, complete with a “Happy 21st” sticker. Coco looked stylish in a black-and-white polka dot dress, carrying a red bag, as she posed next to Arquette, who sported a white ruffled button-down shirt and a plaid jacket.
Last year, on Coco’s 20th birthday, Cox shared her own heartwarming Instagram carousel in honor of the milestone. The post featured a recent selfie of the mother-daughter duo at the beach, followed by a charming mix of sweet and silly throwback pictures of Coco through the years.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful, sweet, kind, sensitive and creative Coco,” the proud mom wrote. “You never cease to make me laugh. I love you sooooo much co to the lo. ♥♥♥”
Arquette also celebrated his daughter’s 20th birthday with a special montage on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday Coco!!! I love you and can’t believe you’re 20 today! I hope you have the best birthday and celebrate your brilliance!!! @cocoarquette_,” he captioned his video.
More recently, Cox and Coco enjoyed a mother-daughter trip to Australia, playing tourists together. “Dumping,” she captioned a slideshow of images from their vacation on Instagram.
One snapshot captured the pair posing for a selfie in front of the iconic Sydney Opera House. Coco wore a surprised expression while her mom pointed at the landmark.
In another sweet photo, the two wrapped their arms around each other, taking in the sights. Another image showed them soaking up the sun on a boat as they cruised through the harbor.
Coco leaned into her mom with a kissy face, sporting white heart-shaped sunglasses. Cox beamed as she posed next to her daughter.
