Gizelle’s $25K Taco Date: Love, Luxury, and Bravo Drama!
Gizelle Bryant is elevating dating to a whole new level of luxury!
In the premiere episode of *Love Hotel*, the *Real Housewives of Potomac* star, 54, selected contestant Jason “Jay” Bramble for the season’s first solo date. After enjoying some appetizers and a tequila tasting, the pair were astonished by the arrival of tacos priced at a staggering $25,000 each.
“Let me present the finest taco in the world,” the server announced, prompting disbelief from Gizelle, who exclaimed, “I don’t believe that.”
“In the taco is amazing lobster, A5 Kobe beef from Japan…” the server continued, before Gizelle interjected, “I see caviar! Jesus Christ, I’m about to fall in love tonight, okay? Caviar is my jam!”
The extravagant creation was even adorned with a gold leaf. “It’s so beautiful you don’t even want to eat it,” Jay joked before indulging in a bite. “I can get used to this!”
After inquiring whether the luxury tacos made her feel “richer already,” Gizelle finished her taco and responded, “I feel rich. This is rich b—- walking — actually this is rich b—- eating!”
Later in their date, Gizelle revealed the qualities she seeks in a partner.
“Transparency, accountability and sexually proficient,” she told Jay, who agreed with her desired attributes. While Jay was receptive to Gizelle’s desires, the reality star admitted uncertainty about his suitability.
“So Jay’s in the middle of like, ‘do I want to bang him or do I just want to get to know him better?'” she told the cameras. “Because yes, he’s attractive, but he’s just not turning on juices for Giselle to feel like, ‘This is it! Let me get it on.’ He’s just a little boring.”
Bravo’s *Love Hotel* features eligible singles vying for the affection of four of the *Real Housewives* franchise’s most prominent bachelorettes — Bryant, Luann de Lesseps (*The Real Housewives of New York City*), Shannon Storms Beador (*Real Housewives of Orange County*) and Ashley Darby (*Real Housewives of Potomac*).
Over the years, Gizelle has openly discussed her love life, including her separation from and reconciliation with her ex-husband, Jamal H. Bryant.
The former couple were married from 2002 to 2009, and divorced after Jamal’s infidelity. They maintained a cordial relationship, co-parenting their three daughters even after Gizelle and the children relocated to Potomac.
In 2019, the former spouses briefly rekindled their relationship before ending it again in 2021.
“Listen, we were a victim of the pandemic,” she said regarding their breakup. “I don’t think any long distance relationship can really withstand not seeing each other. But is he still in my life, is he still one of my best friends? Absolutely.”
Before joining *Love Hotel*, Gizelle was last romantically linked to Jason Cameron. The two began dating in 2023, describing their relationship as “casual and fun and easy.”
