Hailey & Justine’s Wine Country Getaway: Friendship Goals
Hailey Bieber knows how to unwind and enjoy life. The new mom recently shared photos from her girls’ trip with close friend Justine Skye, showcasing moments of laughter and relaxation.
The images reveal Bieber and Skye enjoying glasses of wine, their smiles radiating pure joy. In one photo, Bieber is seen beaming, a glass of dark wine in hand, dressed casually in a white tank top, dark jeans, and a sheer sweater, with her hair pulled back and sunglasses shielding her eyes. She posed beneath a lush tree, embracing the serene atmosphere.
Another picture captures Bieber and Skye, both looking chic in similar outfits, standing proudly in front of wine barrels, glasses raised in a toast. Skye, too, opted for a casual look, pairing a yellow button-down sweater with dark jeans and styling her hair up.
Bieber also shared a fun boomerang on Instagram Stories, showcasing her and Skye clinking glasses filled with a frosty pink drink, seemingly frosé. Skye’s Instagram Stories also featured snapshots from their getaway, including Bieber walking amidst wine barrels and a playful photo of Skye using her wine glass to playfully cover her face.
Beyond the girls’ trip, Bieber also shared images of a striking yellow and black mini dress she wore at the Business of Beauty Global Forum in Napa, California, on June 10. At the forum, the rhode founder discussed the recent acquisition of her skincare brand by e.l.f. Beauty for a staggering $1 billion, emphasizing that the collaboration felt intrinsically right.
“rhode is like my baby. I’m so precious about it,” Bieber stated, highlighting the significance of the sale. She added, “The idea of ever even considering” such a deal was a “very, very big deal to me.”
She further explained, “I remember walking away like, ‘They’re it.’ I knew it in my gut. We just said so many of the same things.”
As part of the agreement with e.l.f. Beauty, Bieber will retain her position as founder while also taking on the roles of chief creative officer and head of innovation at rhode.
Back in June 2022, Bieber emphasized the importance of inclusivity when building her brand, stating, “It was very important to me that if I open up the world of rhode, everyone is invited. Everyone is included. I wanted it to be accessible and attainable for everyone.”
She added: “What sets rhode apart is we’re putting out a very curated, edited line of essentials — our philosophy is making one of everything, really good.”
