Kylie Kelce Wants to Buy Husband Jason a ‘Banana Hammock’ for Father’s Day, but Jokes ‘4 Kids Is Enough’

Kylie Kelce has some unconventional Father’s Day gift ideas for her husband, Jason Kelce. 

The mother of four, who shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 2 months, with the retired NFL star, mused about Father’s Day gifts that are “actually for Mom,” during the June 12 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. 

One of the items on her gift guide list was “clothes you would like him to start wearing.” 

“Does your husband also wear T-shirts, shorts and flip-flops nearly 100% of the places you go?” Kylie asked. “I’m actually okay with it. But if anyone wants their partner to start jazzing it up a little bit, buy him a nice new outfit. Even better, tell him the kids picked it out. It’ll work. I promise.”

Kylie then quipped that if she was going to buy Jason clothes, she would go down a more unconventional route.

“I’d probably buy him a banana hammock,” the 32-year-old noted of the revealing spandex thong one-piece famously worn by Sasha Baron Cohen’s character Borat. “Just kidding. Four kids is enough.” 

Back in a December episode of her podcast, Kylie claimed that she was done having kids after baby number four.

“I think it might get shut down after this one,” she said. “We’re gonna have this next kid, and I’m gonna be like, ‘Don’t even look at me. Just eyes at the floor. Don’t look at me.’ ”

Other gift ideas from the candid mom included “a special just dad and the kids outing.” She also noted that this was a gift for mom too. “If it’s not already clear, Mom would stay home for all these activities. Have fun, Mom,” she laughed.

Another idea on Kylie’s list was “literally any new gadget you’ve been eyeing for yourself as long as it’s something he can occasionally use.” However, she added that if she were getting a gadget for Jason, it would be AirPods. 

“Because every single time that man loses his AirPods, somehow, mine end up his,” she said. 

As for Kylie and Jason’s Father’s Day plans, the podcaster is hoping to get in some alone time with her husband. 

“I did in fact make a reservation for Father’s Day at a restaurant that I do indeed love,” she shared. “The key is that Jason also loves it, so that’s a win-win right there. I do very much endorse a parent trip, a child-free trip. We are not in the phase of life where we are able to do that at this very moment. But last summer, we had a couple of child-free trips that were lovely.”

The Kelce family has been enjoying some down time in the NFL off-season after Jason took on his first post-retirement gig as an ESPN broadcaster. In May, the former Philadelphia Eagles center told PEOPLE that he would be spending his free time with his family. 

“I mean, the biggest thing you enjoy is being around the family more,” Jason shared. “I think in-season, I was doing Monday Night Football, you’re doing the podcast, you’re working a lot, the late-night show later in the season. So I think now that it’s the off-season, you get time to be around the family more.”
