Imagine a Nicole Kidman Extended Universe!
Kidman, 57, exclusively spoke to PEOPLE while attending the season 2 premiere of her Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Thursday, May 15. During the conversation, the Oscar winner revealed that she would be “up for” a scenario in which all of the television characters she’s ever played exist in one place.
“That’s hilarious. I’d be up for it,” she says. “As you know, I’m up for most things. I like to be able to say I’m game. So I’m always ready to try things.”
“I have a huge passion for what I do. I love doing what I do, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate in my journey, and I’m just always a bit excited. I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m like, ‘Okay, thank you. Thank you, universe,’ “ she adds.

As to why she wanted to return to her character as the guru Masha in Nine Perfect Strangers?
“Because she’s fun and powerful, and [castmate] Maisie [Richardson-Sellers] said something like, ‘Masha sharks it.’ So I was like, ‘What does that mean?’ But I think that means she’s a shark. She comes in, and I don’t get to play sharks very often,” Kidman explains.

While Kidman may generally be up for anything, there’s one professional experience she said audiences shouldn’t hold out for: an onscreen collaboration with her husband, country music star Keith Urban.
“We’re together in life, so we don’t need to do our show together,” she tells PEOPLE at the event. “Our life is a show.”
Kidman and Urban, 57, married in 2006 and share daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14. Kidman also shares shares two children, Bella and Connor, with ex Tom Cruise.
The Big Little Lies star has also been tackling a major role behind the scenes as of late: producer. In an interview for PEOPLE’s 50th anniversary edition in April 2024, Kidman shared that she’s been “stepping into” her “power.”
“It’s … being able to go, ‘Okay, I can actually not just act in this show, but I can shepherd it and carry it and make strong, hard, logical decisions to get things made,’ ” she told PEOPLE at the time.
“That side of my brain wasn’t really being used because the creative side is far more visceral for me. I was really good at mathematics at school, and that side of my brain was very underused. The emotional visceral part of who I am is very overused, and it is probably my greatest joy as well,” she added.
Season 2 of Nine Perfect Strangers premieres on May 21 on Hulu.
