Ryder Hudson Honors Mom Kate on Her 46th Birthday with Adorable Throwback Photo
Kate Hudson is marking another birthday with some heartfelt attention from her son!
The actress celebrated turning 46 on Saturday, April 19. To commemorate the day, her eldest son, Ryder Russell Robinson, shared a nostalgic photo of the pair on his Instagram Stories.

The snapshot captures Hudson holding Ryder, who is wearing floaties, from behind as they pose in an infinity pool surrounded by vibrant greenery. The 21-year-old complemented the picture with the audio of Scissor Sisters’ “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.”
Ryder also posted another photo featuring himself, his mother, and his two siblings—Bingham and Rani—adding a loving caption that read: “Momma bday!! ❤️.”
Hudson shares Ryder with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, while Bingham, 13, is with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy, and Rani, 6, is with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa.
Recently, Hudson was a guest on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, where she discussed the joys of motherhood.
During the conversation, Hudson expressed that she hasn’t completely ruled out the possibility of having a fourth child or even more.
“I could have so many kids,” the Running Point star shared with Kelce, 33. “I even think about it right now. I’m like, ‘Am I totally done?’ Because I just can’t imagine being done.”
She added, “It’s a weird thing to contemplate, like, ‘Oh, no. I’m done having kids,’ when you love having kids.” Hudson also mentioned that it becomes increasingly complex as they grow up, noting the challenges of letting them navigate the world while hoping they make good choices.
Hudson concluded, “So, you get a little bit of that, ‘Oh, man. I just hope they are good.’”
