See the 13 Celebrities Who Wore Their Wedding Dresses Again Years Later

A wedding dress is a significant investment, so why limit its wear to just one walk down the aisle?
With numerous events requiring celebrities to dress in their finest attire, some have decided their bridal gowns deserve another moment to shine.
Whether preserving the original design (like Adrienne Bailon in 2019) or creatively repurposing it (as Troian Bellisario did at the 2020 Golden Globes), these sentimental pieces are finding new life.
See which stars gave their wedding attire another whirl.

Kelly Ripa
In a 2025 issue, Kelly Ripa revealed that her wedding dress from her 1996 Las Vegas elopement with husband Mark Consuelos is still getting plenty of use.
“I took the tags off to wear it to our wedding, and I wear it all the time now as a beach cover-up,” she said, adding that the “off-the-rack” piece cost her “a lot of money” back then.
During a 2016 episode of her daytime show, Ripa explained how she’d always envisioned the dress as a long-term wardrobe staple.
“I didn’t buy it as a wedding dress. I just bought it because it was really pretty,” she said. “I said to myself, ‘I bet if I buy this, maybe it will be an investment piece. Maybe I will wear it more than once.'”

Queen Camilla
Queen Camilla has revisited her scallop-edged dress and coat — originally debuted at her 2005 civil ceremony with King Charles III — on multiple occasions.
The royal gave the outfit a second outing at the National Assembly of Wales in June 2007, updating it with a beige hat and pearl necklace. In April 2025, she marked her and King Charles’ 20th wedding anniversary by rewearing it once more during a state visit to Rome.

Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma
Just weeks after officially tying the knot in December 2024, Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma rewore their wedding-day gowns on their first public date as a married couple at a dinner event during day one of the 2025 Australian Open.
Wilson’s look was a blush-pink, off-the-shoulder dress, while Agruma wore a white and peach floral frock with scalloped trim on the sleeves and hemline.

Portia de Rossi
After 14 years of marriage, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi celebrated the occasion in 2023 with a surprise vow renewal at their home, and de Rossi made the moment even more special by rewearing her wedding gown from their 2008 nuptials.
With celebrity guests like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston, and officiated by Kris Jenner, de Rossi turned heads in her off-white, halter-neck dress — featuring satin finishes and a billowing tulle skirt.

Emma Stone
Emma Stone surprised fans at the 2022 Met Gala by wearing a never-before-seen look from her closet — one of her wedding outfits! The Oscar winner first wore the mini dress with sheer straps and a feathered hem at the afterparty for her 2020 wedding to Dave McCary.
“Sartorial revival,” the Instagram account captioned a photo of Stone standing alongside fashion designer Nicolas Ghesquière and Squid Game star Hoyeon while giving the frock a “second life” on the red carpet.

Adrienne Bailon
On Nov. 11, 2019, Adrienne Bailon celebrated two milestones: three years of marriage to Israel Houghton and the first-year anniversary of her jewelry brand, XIXI. To honor both, she launched a Happily Ever Wedding collection — featuring pieces inspired by her own nuptials, including a replica of her square-cut engagement ring and rose gold wedding band — and even slipped back into her original wedding dress.
For the occasion, the star rewore her custom sequined mermaid gown designed by Ryan Patros and Walter Mendez, with no alterations needed.
“I had it professionally preserved right after the wedding, and it was stored in a box,” Bailon said in 2019. “It was the exact same as it was on my wedding day.”

Victoria Beckham
For a 2019 photo shoot, Victoria Beckham stepped back into the strapless corseted ballgown she wore to wed husband David Beckham at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.
For their 25th wedding anniversary in 2024, the fashion designer and now-retired soccer star paid homage to another look from their big day: their iconic purple reception outfits. “Look what we found…” the couple captioned an Instagram photo of themselves lounging on thrones.

Keira Knightley
Keira Knightley can’t get enough of one Chanel number! The actress wore the grey tulle minidress she wore to marry James Righton five years before their May 2013 nuptials, and again a few months after.
Knightley first wore the dress at a pre-BAFTA bash in 2008 beneath a black coat, and again on her wedding day with a white tweed jacket and flower crown.
For the frock’s third run, the star styled it over a sheer long-sleeved shirt with delicate embroidery at a December 2013 gala.

Busy Philipps
So nice, she wore it twice! Phillips broke out the strapless ballgown with a waist-defining black bow she wore for her 2007 wedding to screenwriter Marc Silverstein for a special episode in 2019.
“Yes. I really pulled out my wedding dress from 12 years ago and wore it on my show tonight,” she joked on Instagram at the time. “It basically fit except my stupid upper rib cage which grew after my 2 babies. No one tells you about that s—. But babies expand your rib cage so, just be aware.”
The now-divorced couple share two daughters, Birdie Leigh and Cricket Pearl.

Liberty Ross
Liberty Ross got more mileage out of the silk gown she sported for the beach festivities of her wedding to music mogul Jimmy Iovine in 2016, just two weeks after they said “I do.”
The model tied her hair back in a ponytail and carried a black clutch at the Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, proving that some bridal style is just too pretty to stay in storage.

Alex Borstein
Look familiar? Alex Borstein had a memorable night in a memorable gown (again!) at the Emmy Awards in 2018.
The star won the award for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series in the same silver gown she wore to marry Jackson Douglas in 1999.
The actors split in 2014 in a divorce finalized three years later, and Borstein addressed her outfit’s history on the Emmys red carpet.
“The marriage didn’t last, but the dress did, and I wanted to give it new life — so now it’s my Emmys dress,” she told Glamour magazine at the time. “That’s the truth.”

Troian Bellisario
Business on the top, bridal on the bottom! Troian Bellisario reimagined her wedding dress for a Golden Globes party in 2020, wearing the tulle skirt from her 2016 nuptials to Suits star Patrick J. Adams with a pink top.
“Wore half my wedding dress,” the Pretty Little Liars alumna joked on Instagram, sharing a photo at home with her husband after the Globes bash. “Home by 11. Eating ice cream.”
