Selena Gomez Celebrates Benny Blanco’s Birthday with Heartfelt Candid Moments: ‘Grateful for You’

Selena Gomez is honoring Benny Blanco’s birthday with some delightful photographic memories.

On Saturday, March 8, the Emilia Pérez star, aged 32, posted an emotional tribute on Instagram to celebrate her music producer fiancé’s 37th birthday.

Within the series of images, the duo can be seen clad in winter attire as they ski together, posing for pictures ahead of several award shows (including the Oscars and Golden Globes) and snuggling on a couch while Gomez wears vibrant red pajamas and Blanco sports a green T-shirt.

“I’m unsure what I did to earn you, but boy am I thankful you were born.. happy birthday baby ♥️,” Gomez expressed in the caption accompanying the post.

Additional pictures reveal Blanco kissing his fiancée’s forehead on a beach at sunset, while another captures Blanco embracing Gomez from behind as they both smile.

The couple has consistently been open about their relationship on social platforms. Earlier this week, the Rare Beauty founder shared a fun video on Instagram and TikTok that depicted Blanco attempting to apply her makeup using products from her beauty line.

Blanco commenced the charming clip by asking Gomez, “Where do I begin?” before picking up a Rare Beauty pressed powder as the camera amusingly fell to the ground.

The music producer then began applying the powder to her nose, asserting, “Oh, wait. That’s actually pretty good,” which caused Gomez to chuckle.

At the conclusion of the clip — which included some rather inaccurately applied highlighter contour — Blanco joked that he believed he did a satisfactory job.

“I think it appears quite good. Let me see. I don’t know. You look so attractive,” Blanco remarked as Gomez zoomed in on her final makeup appearance.

Last month for Valentine’s Day, Gomez and Blanco discussed with Interview magazine how they complement each other — and enjoy “the finest moments” in their relationship.

“I’m more of an introvert who can be an extrovert, but the situation has to be right,” Gomez shared with the outlet. “It’s refreshing to have someone who balances that and encourages me to leave the house.”

Blanco added that their dynamic is “so good” because “she calms [him] down when [he] needs it,” and he helps her get out of the house.

“Whenever I’m experiencing anything but perfect, she knows precisely what to say. I’m so annoyed that it took this long. It’s like, ‘How did we not discover this sooner?’ I’m 36 years old,” he continued.

Gomez and Blanco proclaimed their engagement on Instagram in December after dating for more than a year.

Last month, the couple disclosed that they were collaborating on an album together, titled I Said I Love You First. The album, which is set to release on March 21, represents Gomez and Blanco’s inaugural project as a couple.
