Snoop Dogg and Wife Shante Broadus Celebrate Their 28th Wedding Anniversary with Loving Social Media Tributes

Snoop and Broadus’s story began in their teenage years, as fellow students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California. Their connection was strong enough that they even attended prom together in 1989.

Their relationship blossomed, leading to their marriage in June 1997. The ceremony was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey, California. Though they briefly separated in 2004, their commitment to each other led them to renew their vows in 2008.

The “Drop It Like It’s Hot” artist and his longtime partner share three children: sons Cordé and Cordell, and daughter Cori. Snoop is also father to son Julian with Laurie Helmond.

Today, Snoop and Broadus are proud grandparents to several grandchildren, adding another layer of joy to their family life.

In a recent interview, Snoop expressed his deep appreciation for his wife, stating, “She understands me.”

He continued, describing Broadus as “a great mother, a tremendous grandmother, an excellent wife, and a great friend. She knows how to push all of my buttons to make me act a fool or to make me act cool, and I love it.”

Snoop further noted, “Over the years she’s grown with me to know what I do and how I do it and to give me the space to do it. When asked about his contributions to the relationship, Snoop shared, “I’m a loving, caring, providing husband. My wife ain’t never worked a day in her life.”

He elaborated, “What I love is that I’m in a position where you don’t have to work. I am the work, and you are my backbone.”
