Snoop Dogg’s 4 Kids: All About Corde, Cordell, Cori and Julian
Snoop Dogg is recognized globally as a rap icon and for his surprising culinary ventures, but at his core, he’s a dedicated father to four children.
The artist behind countless hits shares sons Corde, 30, and Cordell, 28, and daughter Cori, 25, with his wife, Shante Broadus, his partner since 1997. He also has a son, Julian, 27, from a previous relationship.
Snoop offered a glimpse into his family dynamics on his reality show, which aired for two seasons and chronicled Snoop and Shante navigating parenthood with their three children.
In a past interview, the rapper emphasized the importance of the show’s message, noting, “Many rappers grew up without fathers, yet they become fathers to their kids. We don’t get enough credit for that. We become real men when we reach this stage.”
That year, Snoop discussed his approach to parenting and coaching his kids’ sports teams.
“I’m hard. I push them. But my style is, I challenge them, and then I support them,” he shared, “I do that to show them that I believe they can achieve more, because they are capable.”
Snoop further elaborated on his role as a dad, stating, “My relationship with my kids is paramount. It’s a bond built on fatherhood, mentorship, and friendship.”

Corde Broadus, 30
Snoop and Shante’s son, Corde Broadus, was born on February 21, 1997.
Cordell pursued football throughout his high school years and continued at UCLA, committing to the university in February 2015. However, he shifted gears shortly after, leaving the team in August 2015 to explore creative endeavors.
“Cordell shared his decision to pursue other passions, particularly his passion for film through his company, Film School Productions,” UCLA Coach Jim Mora said. “Cordell is a talented young man, and we wish him the best as he continues his studies at UCLA.”
Following his departure from UCLA, Cordell ventured into the entertainment industry. He had a role in a film starring Wiz Khalifa and his father. Through his company, Film School Productions, Cordell now directs. He’s been developing a documentary about his family’s history and “the journey of a Black man in America.”
“I’ve always heard stories about my family and the legacy of my father, my grandfather, and those before us. I wanted to share something I knew, because in a film writing class, the professor said to write what you know. I know my family, so that’s where I wanted to begin,” he shared.
Cordell has also explored the music industry. His debut single featured his father. He also founded his own record label.
“I’m very critical of my own work,” he expressed. “Through my music, I aim to represent myself and individuality. I want to be unique – many are chasing trends or following others. Creating means taking a leadership role, being bold and brave.”
Besides his work in music and film, Cordell is an entrepreneur, making a name for himself in the NFT space and collaborating with various companies. He even launched his own taco restaurant.
In his personal life, Cordell has two daughters with his girlfriend, Phia Barragan. His older daughter, Cordoba, was born on March 24, 2019, and his younger daughter, Chateau, was born on March 10, 2021.
Julian Corrie Broadus, 27
Snoop’s son, Julian Broadus, with Laurie Helmond, was born on June 18, 1998.
In 2018, Julian showed his support for his father at Snoop’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. Earlier that year, he shared a throwback photo of himself and Snoop as a baby, with the caption, “Paved the way so I can do anything I wanted.”
Now 27, Julian is working in tech as the executive director of promotions for Voxel X Network, a company in the NFT and gaming sector.
Cori Broadus, 25
Snoop’s daughter, Cori Broadus, was born on June 22, 1999.
Like her brothers, Cori has entered the music industry, performing as Choc.
She’s also an entrepreneur, selling beauty products through her company, which she co-owns with her fiancé, Wayne Duece.
“When I was little, my dad called me ‘Choc’ because I was sweet and chocolate-colored,” she shared. “That’s what I infuse into my handmade products, made with love and sweetness.”
At age 6, Cori was diagnosed with lupus, an autoimmune disorder. Snoop and Shante launched a collection of scarves and headwraps inspired by Cori’s lupus journey.
“I would put a scarf on her, and so she wouldn’t feel alone, we all wore scarves with her,” Shante explained.
Cori has discussed managing her lupus symptoms.
“I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been,” she said, sharing that she’s focusing on a holistic approach to her health. “I stopped taking all my medication some time ago. I’m doing everything naturally, using herbs, sea moss, and teas.”
Cori revealed she had a stroke in a post.
“I had a severe stroke I started crying when they told me. I’m only 24, what did I do to deserve this,” she wrote, sharing photos from her hospital room.
Snoop shared that Cori was “doing a little bit better” after spending time in the hospital.
Cori and Duece, engaged, welcomed their first child in February 2025. Their baby girl arrived early after Cori was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome.
Sharing a photo of her baby’s foot, Cori wrote, “The princess arrived at 6 months . I’ve cried, compared, and blamed myself for not giving her what she needed. But God shows me that He got me! Baby girl came at 25 weeks and she’s the best!! Thank You God 🙏”
