Sydney’s Vegas Nights: MGK, Patrick, and a Post-Fiancé Freedom Fest
Sydney Sweeney recently enjoyed a fun-filled outing with friends in Las Vegas, following her split from Jonathan Davino.
On May 3rd, the actress, 27, was spotted partying with Patrick Schwarzenegger and MGK (Machine Gun Kelly) at the grand opening of the Palm Tree Beach Club in Las Vegas.
Sweeney documented their time together with a group photo shared on her social media. She posed between the actors at the bash, which celebrated the second of a three-day opening weekend.
In the snapshot, Sweeney smiled with her hands on her hips, while MGK, 35, flashed a peace sign on her left and Schwarzenegger, 31, smiled on her right.
The *Euphoria* star also shared a video of herself flipping her hair while enjoying the DJ set from Kygo.
At one point, Sweeney and Schwarzenegger even joined Kygo behind the DJ booth – a moment documented on social media.
Sweeney was also seen chatting with MGK, according to photos shared online. Later that evening, the friends – without MGK – were seen talking with other guests at the Vegas celebration, sporting similar denim-on-denim looks with white undershirts.
MGK and Sweeney are longtime friends and have worked together before, starring in 2019’s *Big Time Adolescence*. More recently, Sweeney played a starring role in *Downfalls High*, the 2021 film by MGK and Mod Sun.
Schwarzenegger and Sweeney are also known for their roles in *The White Lotus*, in the third and first seasons, respectively.
Sweeney’s day out in Las Vegas came shortly after she put her wedding to Davino, 41, on hold.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the pair, who were first linked in 2018 and engaged in 2022, had postponed their May wedding date. A source later confirmed that “things have been rocky for a long time.”
The couple officially broke up, a source confirmed, revealing that the *Anyone but You* star has been focusing on work since the end of her engagement.
“She’s exactly where she wants to be,” the source said of Sweeney. “Most people would feel overwhelmed by her working schedule this year, but not Syd. She’s all about working right now and very excited about all her projects.”
About a month after news of the breakup, Sweeney was seen with Davino in April, although a source clarified that while they remain in touch, they have not reconciled.
“This wasn’t just a relationship. This was two people living together and planning a future,” the source said of the exes’ post-split meeting. “They still have things to figure out.”
“Sydney’s mind is very much on work though,” the insider added. “She’s doing well.”
