“I was absolutely dumbfounded when that occurred,” she remarks, referring to Beyoncé singing portions of the lyrics from the twin sisters’ girl group, Voices, during the performance at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., on Sept. 4, 2023.

“It was undoubtedly a moment, and I’m thankful and ecstatic for that instance, and she’s incredible. I’ve encountered her multiple times,” Tia adds.

The Sister, Sister star confessed she didn’t even realize the brief homage had transpired until another spectator in the crowd prompted her about it.

“What’s amusing is that I was positioned off to the side of the stage, so … someone behind me had to mention, ‘Oh my gosh, this just occurred,’ and I replied, ‘What?’ ” she reminisces. “Then I saw it online, and she’s incredible.”

“That is so awesome. Yes, I’m a massive fan,” she concludes regarding the acknowledgment.

A day following that 2023 occasion, Tia highlighted it in an Instagram post.

“The peak of the evening was when she noticed me in the audience, gave me a smile and a greeting, and then began singing ‘yeah, yeah, yeah’ from when @tameramowrytwo and I were part of the singing group, Voices!” she inscribed in the caption. “I was so moved by her gesture, and I still can’t fathom that it genuinely happened! She’s a genuine icon, who consistently inspires me with her talent, dedication, humility, and lovely spirit 💗.”

Tia and Tamera first encountered Beyoncé in the ’90s when their brother Tahj Mowry appeared on Disney Channel’s Smart Guy.

“From the outset, Beyoncé’s irrefutable talent is only surpassed by her remarkable kindness and generosity,” she further elaborated in the caption recapping the concert. You can truly witness how extraordinary and meticulous an artist she is, along with the immense thought and love invested into this performance.”
