Trump Sons Launch ‘Trump Mobile,’ a ‘Bring Your Own Phone’ Carrier Selling $47/Month SIM Cards

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have unveiled Trump Mobile, a new family business venture emphasizing its U.S.-based operations.

At Trump Tower, the eldest sons of President Donald Trump announced the launch of their mobile brand. The company promises to offer SIM cards manufactured in America, operating on the networks of the country’s three major wireless providers.

“We felt there was lackluster performance in the mobile industry, and so with Trump Mobile, we’re going to be introducing a higher package of products,” Don Jr. stated at the launch event, before presenting a “bring your own phone” data plan.

He added that the company intends to offer services like telemedicine and roadside assistance through partnerships with third-party providers, as well as unlimited texting to 100 countries.

Eric emphasized that the company’s manufacturing and customer service would be based in the United States, with plans for the brand to be rooted in St. Louis, MO. He also mentioned upcoming announcements in the coming weeks and months.

Currently, Trump Mobile offers “The 47 Plan,” a SIM card and data plan costing $47.45 per month—a subtle nod to their father’s terms as the 45th and potentially 47th president.

The new mobile company is also accepting $100 down payments for preorders of gold “T1” smartphones, depicted on the website as “Coming Soon.”

The launch of Trump Mobile follows more than a year after both brothers were implicated in their father’s civil fraud trial in February 2024, resulting in significant fines for filing false financial statements.

The judge in that case criticized the defendants for their “complete lack of contrition and remorse,” bordering on pathological behavior. They were also temporarily barred from holding top leadership positions at New York businesses, a ban currently on hold pending appeal.

The brand’s launch also coincides with widespread protests, where demonstrators rallied.

The protests occurred around the time of the president’s military parade in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 250th anniversary of the Army and his 79th birthday.
