When asked how Nelson, 92, keeps “young on the road,” he said that he “can’t smoke anymore.” “My lungs have already said, ‘Don’t do that,’ ” Nelson, who has his own weed business, said. “So, I don’t really do anything now much except a few edibles.”
The “On the Road Again” singer also spoke about the importance of having a drink with THC in it, which is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis, per Healthline. It produces a high, unlike CBD.
“I think it’s good, the people like it from what I’ve seen and heard. It’s getting to be pretty popular out there,” Wilson said. In 2019, Nelson said that he stopped smoking cigarettes, but his publicist clarified that he does “still taste the flower” and “doesn’t smoke any more or any less [weed].”
