Zoe Saldaña Brings Her Sons to the Red Carpet for Elio World Premiere: See Their Adorable Matching Outfits!

Zoe Saldaña’s kids posing on the red carpet with their mom was not the typical “bring your kids to work” day.

For Elio‘s Los Angeles premiere event on Tuesday, June 10, the actress, 46, was accompanied by her three boys: twins Bowie and Cy, 10, and her youngest, Zen, 8.

For the night out, the boys looked dapper in their matching navy blazers, white button-downs, dark blue jeans and sneakers. As for their mom, the actress wore a brown turtleneck blouse with a mustard pencil skirt. She paired the look with brown shoes and tied her hair back. She completed her outfit with a bold red lip.

Saldaña’s appearance with her sons comes after she revealed that she gets “cool points” from them for doing children’s movies. While appearing on Good Morning America on June 4, Saldaña spoke in detail about working on the Disney film geared toward kids.

“Since becoming a parent, incorporating what I do — my art — into a genre that caters to children has always been a great interest to me,” Saldaña said. “And I get to relate to them, and I also get some mad cool points as a mom.”

She continued, “But my 8-year-old cannot wait for Elio to come out.”

The Honey star revealed that she got the stamp of approval from her boys, whom she shares with her husband Marco Perego.

“They immediately bought into the story. I think that everybody can relate to the themes that Elio talks about: About feeling like an alien in your own skin, feeling like you don’t belong,” she explained. “But longing to be a part of a community that accepts you and sees you for who you are. My boys definitely liked it.”

Elio centers around “a space fanatic with an active imagination” who “finds himself on a cosmic misadventure where he must form new bonds with alien lifeforms, navigate a crisis of intergalactic proportions and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be,” per IMDb. Saldaña stars alongside Yonas Kibreab and Remy Edgerly in the Adrian Molina-directed film.

At the 2025 Oscars, Saldaña took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Perez. She revealed to PEOPLE that she now plans on devoting her downtime to her family. 

When “the moment everything was over, I just really just wanted to go back home and just take my kids to school and be a little more present in their lives because they took this leap of faith with me — my whole family did — and I wanted to catch up on this time,” she admitted. “It’s through their eyes that I’m able to understand the impact of being recognized for this [and] what it means for us and for anybody. It’s just so great.”

Elio will arrive in theaters on June 20.
